In the first set, both players were tied at two games all when rain suspended play for almost an hour. After play resumed, Peantarn blast two forehand passing shots to break Cako for a 5-4 lead. Peangtarn set up a set point with a forehand volley and wrapped up the opener with a drop shot that Cako replied to the net.
With inconsistent play from Cako, the Thai scored a double break to lead at 5-2. Serving for the title at 5-2, Peangtarn was down 0-40 but won the next five points to seal off the victory after 75 minutes.
"I'm so happy to finally win this week as it's my goal to win the tournamnet from the beginning. We played similar style but she started making more errors in the second set," said Peangatrn who will play in South Korea in the next two weeks.
