Still full of energy despite a gruelling 17 shows in 12 cities, Japanese rockers Radwimps will be in Bangkok this Friday (June 15) performing at Moonstar Studio before heading back East for concerts in Hong Kong, Taipei and Shanghai.

The indie rock band from Kanagawa has been described as a “New Invention” and has become one of the most popular four-piece rock bands on the Japanese music scene. Radwimps shot to fame last year after composing and performing the entire soundtrack for the critically-acclaimed, award-winning anime movie, “Your Name” (“Kimi no Na Wa”) directed by Makoto Shinkai.
The band is made up of Yojiro Noda on vocals, guitar and piano, Akira Kuwahara on guitar, Yusuke Takeda on bass and Satoshi Yamaguchi on drums.
In 2015, the band celebrated its 10th anniversary with a first European tour in Paris, Cologne, Berlin and London and the second Asian tour in Seoul and Taipei.
Tickets cost Bt2,200 at www.EventPop.me/e/1599-radwimps-2017-asia-live-tour-in-bangkok.
