A balance between pain and happiness
Rangsan “Songkran” Panyaruen – the winner of Season 2 of Thailand’s version of “The Voice” – has moved to his new home at Me Records, managed by lyricist Patiwet “Fongbeer” Uthaichalerm, and has now released his first song and video, “Oh Ther” as part of the “Official Music Movie” project.
Fongbeer called on film director Yuthlert “Tom” Sippapak to make the music video of the tear-jerker, which stars popular actor Kan Kantathavorn, host of “The Mask Singer”. Filmed on Koh Sichang in Chon Buri, Kan portrays a patient in the final stages of cancer who takes care of his sweetheart until his very last breath. He encourages her to be strong and stand on this Earth without him.
“I selected Tom to direct the music video of this song because I like his attitude. The video tells the story of two lovers about to be separated by death and I wanted a director who could put this feeling of pain across. Kan is one of the hottest actors around today and suitable for the main character,” says Fongbeer.
“After watching the final edit of the music video, I can say that we feel both the pain and the happiness.
