Palestinian ‘violence’ a smokescreen: root of issue is eviction of 6 million

I suggest that Andy Leitner read my previous letter again, as nowhere did I state that extremism is not inherent to the Muslim religion. I merely stated that since Mr Leitner had implied as much previously, it was strange that he would recognise the rights of Palestinians to East Jerusalem.
I confess I do not have a lot of knowledge about the Islamic faith. But what I do know is that about 6 million Palestinians are waiting to return to their native land, their parents having been thrown out after the establishment of Israel in 1948. I think that this might play a part in their current extremist activities. It is patently clear that there would be less terrorism in both the Middle East and elsewhere in the world if Israel let these Palestinians, many of whom have lived in refugee camps their whole lives, back into their native land.
