How sad that the governor needs the sight of two ladies wielding an axe and hammer before implementing the law.
The markets are clearly illegal but nothing is done about it. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to understand why the markets were allowed to operate illegally. But now that the popularity of the governor is at stake in view of the coming elections, action is taken.
Should we hope for a similar incident in Hua Hin, where noisy party houses for rent disturb the neighbourhood because the governor does not shut them? Let’s hope they will be outlawed without “aunties” having to come armed with axe and hammer.
