Alastair Mordy is correct in pointing out an error in my article “China and the Genome Revolution” on March 12. It said that Chinese firm BGI Genetics was the first institute to map the genetic makeup of the entire human being, but it should have read: “Originally a national institute at Peking University, BGI led China’s portion of the Human Genome Project to map the genetic makeup of the human being.”
