“Of course, [President In Name Only (PINO)] Trump cannot expect credit for this courageous [sic] move from his liberal critics.” Well, what did “Haupt” expect? Liberals to knee-jerk their way into this act of folly too? Or should we ignore that fact that the way to this initiative was actually prepared by the South Korean leader, and not Trump?
Allow me to shed some light on this development. First, we note, the “courageous” Trump fires Secretary Tillerson – but not to his face, of course. Consider that Tillerson was a Trump appointee like so many others now conspicuous by their absence, hence bringing PINO’s judgement into question for the umpteenth time. The “fearless” Trump, being untutored in the ways of joined-up thinking, and grasping at any fig leaf of legitimacy that happens his way, seized on “possible” overtures from Kim to embark on peace talks. Yep, got that.
Noting that Trump and political reality are strange bedfellows, it should be clear to those of us with intellects that are not stranded within the straitjacket of a two-digit IQ that Kim, no absolute fool himself, has an agenda obvious to all those who are, and who aspire, to rise above the irretrievably fatuous – a byword for the current administration at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. For example, the sight of Kim sitting with Trump offers immense propaganda capital directed at Kim’s domestic audience, and further entrenches his position on the home front. Will Kim give up his nuclear “deterrent’? Will he ’eck, as we say where I come from. He saw what happened to a nuclear-bereft Saddam, among others, and acted accordingly.
