The 29-year-old from Roi, representing Thailand National Team, Et timed 56.37 minutes to win the individual category of the 42km first stage. She also won the Best Sprinter and Best Asean Rider categories as well.
In the team event, Japan National Team dominated the first day with a total time of 2:49.51 hours, followed by Russia National Team and Vietnam National Team.
“The Best ASEAN Team” title went to Vietnam National Team with their combined time of 3:17.63 hours, followed by Thailand Women Cycling Team and Thailand National Team with the same team.
Jutatip will wear the purple jersey (as Best Sprinter) into Monday’s second stage which covers a distance of 117.45km, starting from Kaen Nakhon Lake to Ban Fang district in Khon Kaen.
