Here the message is, “The best way to promote vegetarianism is to not promote vegetarianism.” The absurdity is obvious.
Neither writer even attempts to dispute the arguments for animal rights, because they can’t. So instead they attack the animal rights activists themselves. And that, dear readers, is the oldest tactic of them all.
