Editorials ought to be meatier

What a sweet article, and what a great headline. But why not write, “We disagree with nuclear bombs – they are hot, kill people and are full of radiation” and so on?
If an article has no signature and goes out as the “opinion” of The Nation, I expect a bit more quality, content and, yes, opinion (not copies of well-known stuff or agency reprints) for it to be worth reading, educational and informative.
