But, back to the subject – registration of pets.
In truth the problem isn’t cost, but the blanket approach of “all pets must be registered”.
The law could be modified to force registration of the problem animals – dogs.
Although rarely reported by the dog-loving media, dog attacks are very common and it is indisputable that dogs are the main spreader of rabies in the country.
They must be controlled, as must the inconsiderate ill-mannered owners.
Dogs have no place in civil society. They don’t even make good pets!
To this end, registration of dogs will help, but we must consider what to do about the ones that are not registered, the strays. The only viable solution is a dog extermination programme.
And this needs to be extended to registered dogs that annoy normal citizens in any way, whether it be their noise, filth, stink or behaviour.
There would certainly be no shortage of volunteers to help. The number of people who have had their lives destroyed by these disgusting animals is sadly underestimated.
Enough of dogs
