Easy to be an apologist for injustice when you never suffer yourself

Easy to be an apologist for injustice when you never suffer yourself

At the risk of sounding repetitious, how in the name of God can Michael Setter call himself a “practising Buddhist” when he makes excuses for every atrocity committed against humans and animals?

His attitude is that injustice is just the way things are, so get over it. Although he has no problem lecturing and ridiculing me, he thinks it’s wrong to lecture people who abuse humans and animals.
Suppose the great civil rights leader Martin Luther King had said to himself: “I don’t want to condemn racism because doing that would be offensive to racists?”
If that had been his attitude, black Americans would still be riding in the back of the bus.
People such as Michael Setter, who are so terrified of offending cruel people, are never the ones who are suffering from injustice themselves. What self-serving hypocrites!
