Embassy’s gay festival was a waste of taxpayers’ money
The diplomatic mission of my country in this Kingdom, I learned from friends, organised a Gay Film Festival in the grounds of our embassy, on Wireless Road in the heart of the capital, something I am sure Thailand could not do without.
As a taxpayer I am a sponsor of this event. May I suggest to our Foreign Office that the next gay festival be held at our embassy grounds in Chechnya, a mainly Muslim Russian republic where many gays are reportedly imprisoned and tortured simply for what they are.
