It was common in the 60s that most Thai boys wanted to be a cop. When I was about 7 or 8, I and other kids enjoyed playing a make-believe game: a kid, usually the bully, got to be chief of police and the rest of us, depending on body size, played the roles of deputy chief, head of police station, detective and street cop. Street police saluted the head of the station and reported that they had caught a lot of bad guys. The head of the station then reported to the chief. We were equipped with toy guns and all, and our bikes served as patrol cars. Those were the days.
The Democrats gave me nostalgia for my younger days when they announced a shadow Cabinet. I hope they have fun playing make-believe games just like I did. Fake it till you make it.
