The Thai veteran was made to play two matches after her second-round encounter with Sachie Ishizu was rained off on Wednesday.
World No 86 Tamarine benefited from a string of unforced errors to beat Ishizu 6-1 6-3 in the morning before collecting her second win of the day with a 6-3 6-4 quarter-final victory over Akiko Omae.
“In the first match she could hit well and miss at the same time. So I had to concentrate. In the second match, she was tired from her three-set-match, which made it easy for me,” said the 34-year-old player.
She next takes on Mandy Minella of Luxembourg in the semi-finals.
