Clara Holzer (Letters, October 25) opines that by not voting for Yingluck, the country might have elected a more experienced government, better able to handle the current crisis, but she also offers no concrete suggestions as to who might lead such a government.
Surely they do not have in mind the current leader of the main opposition party, whose response to last year’s disastrous floods (remember them?) when he was prime minister was so inept that a well-known TV presenter was motivated through sheer desperation to mount his own relief operation. And what thanks did he get? Predictably, a rebuke from the then prime minister for involving himself in matters that were not his concern!
Good luck, voters, in your search for better political leaders.
