Is the media causing political division?

There is nothing more important at this moment than following news about the flooding in Thailand to see if loved ones will be affected and if the country will survive this disaster.

However, I am so frustrated reading biased articles from Thai newspapers. Some of them always blame the red shirts or blame Pheu Thai while others blame the opposition.
In fact, they are doing a very good job providing consistently biased reports. Some even play with people’s minds, pulling distorted facts together and presenting them as a believable story. Is this because they want to put out a good story for their financial supporters?
This is a good example of smart people doing an excellent job but with no ethics. I feel like people in Thailand might be more politically divided because of the media.
Only a couple of media [outlets] report news objectively without any bias (or only a few added opinions). They are the ones to rely on. I hope the media community gives more focus to their occupational ethics.
