Motorcyclists without helmets are a threat

A couple of days ago, going by taxi from On Nut/Srinakharin to Seacon Square while stuck in traffic, sirens could be heard. Within a few minutes flashing lights from behind appeared as an ambulance overtook us and sped away; fifteen minutes later at Seaco

Yesterday, while waiting for a bus, I amused myself by counting adult motorcyclists with or without helmets and children with none, and due to my anger I lost count after five. For an adult, it’s one thing to subject yourself to the dangers of road travel on a motorbike [without a helmet], but quite another to subject your passenger to the same.
The next time you see a young child on the front of a motorbike without a helmet, and if you have the opportunity, just say something to the adult driver. You might save a young life.
