Will PTT shares be allocated fairly?

In yesterday's "Analysis" The Nation reveals the government's idea to sell 2 per cent of PTT to privatise the energy giant.

The original sale of PTT shares to the public proved to be a complete disaster. Despite queuing all night to purchase shares, would-be small investors were denied because all shares vanished in just a few minutes. Who got the shares? Were some influential people given preference? Were nominees here and overseas involved? Before any sale of more PTT shares proceeds, we need to know who actually owns PTT. Thaksin’s concern for PTT would suggest he has more than an academic interest.
