Iran has no use for nuclear weapons

The Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly announced at the highest level that nuclear weapons have no place in its defence doctrine and strongly condemn the use of such inhumane weapons. The accusations of developing of nuclear weapons against the Islamic Republic of Iran are completely baseless and unfounded.
The Islamic Republic of Iran believes that nuclear weapons are an assault to human being’s dignity and logic, and certain countries that suspect Iran of moving towards producing nuclear weapons should open their eyes to reality and see the nuclear bombs already present in the region like the hundreds of nuclear warheads stockpiled by the Zionist regime. The owners of nuclear weapons should join the Islamic Republic of Iran’s motto of “nuclear energy for all, nuclear weapons for none”.
Iran has been hearing threats from the Zionist regime for many years. The hostility to Iran is due to Tehran’s influence on political developments taking place around the globe. The Iranian nation is a united nation and such threats are not new. The Iranian people can defend their country and make any attacker regret any attack on Iranian soil. Iran’s enemies know well that Iran gets stronger day by day, and other countries have taken Iran’s authority and dignity as their model.
Iran has always condemned terrorism in the strongest terms, as the country has itself been a victim of terrorism. It is the Zionist regime that is based on state terrorism and occupation. This regime has a high record of criminal actions against humanity and it is the first suspect of any terrorist operation in the world.
