A 'Cone' for talent

Walls ice cream teams up with Believe Record and a day magazine for the second 'Cone Kon Khon' project

Cornetto Thai, in cooperation with 104.5 FM Fat Radio, Believe Record, Sony Music and a day magazine, is launching the second edition of its successful “Cone Kon Khon” project that searches for a new talent.
“This project is designed as a stage for people who love music to show off their abilities. Last year, we got O Pavee, Jarintanakai, Cookie & Cream, Makhampom and The Orange Rolls, five bands whose songs were compiled on our ‘03 Sing It by Wall’s Cornetto’ album on the Believe Record label,” says Catherine Amatawiwat, marketing and product development director of Unilever Thai Trading’s Walls ice cream.
“This year, we are inviting the five finalists from 2011 to perform on stage and also to  jam with three popular artists, who are the inspiration for today’s new generation these days,” she said.
This year, the concept is “Cone Clash Cone” and the five winners will perform with Scrubb, Armchair, and 25 Hours.
“We appreciate all bands working hard towards their dreams.
O Pavee was the winner of the first project and got the chance to be with our label,” said Samkhwan Tansompong, general manager of Believe Record.
If you think you have talent, don’t  hesitate to become involved with this project. Just make a video clip introducing yourself and perform a song by Scrubb, Armchair or 25 Hours and send it to a day magazine, 3, Soi Charoenmitr, Sukhumvit 63, Klongton Nuea, Wattana, Bangkok 10110 before the end of this month.
