Democrats have no hope of winning

There is no hope for Abhisit to reclaim the PM's office, considering the imminent return of 111 veteran politicians who were banned when Thai Rak Thai was dissolved.

The ban is over on May 30.
Moreover, after TRT was dissolved, it was reincarnated as People’s Power, consisting of Thaksin’s second string players, which soundly beat the Democrats in the 2007 general election. But People’s Power was short-lived; it, too, was dissolved, its 109 members were sidelined and Abhisit claimed the PM’s office courtesy of the army. However, the defunct People’s Power was reborn as Pheu Thai and effortlessly beat the Democrats in the 2011 general election, meaning Abhisit’s first team got routed by Thakisn’s third team.
In the next general election Abhisit is going to compete against Thakisn’s first string players and it’s going to be impossible for him to come close, let alone win, when he couldn’t even handle Thaksin’s third team. May be the Election Commission should come up with a handicap system so that the Democrat has a chance to come close.
