Raw talent on display
Recent graduates of the Chanapatana International Design Institute plan to shake up the local bright-ideas scene with the innovative fashion-and-design exhibition “eXtension”, running from Wednesday to July 19 in Siam Paragon’s Lifestyle Hall.
The fashion show will include more than 100 costumes, from a gothic-punk gown that looks like a sculpture to outfits inspired by a hurricane and the Mona Lisa. More than 40 product designs will also be on display.

Dress for triumph
The London Olympics, opening in three weeks, have inspired an Armani Junior collection.
Athleticism and patriotism are the motifs in the wardrobe of T-shirt, polo shirt, tracksuit and waterproof windbreaker.
The gear is in white and navy blue with the polo-shirt sleeves in contrasting green and red.
The opening verses of Mameli’s Hymn, the Olympic theme, are printed inside the garments, so you can get in the spirit of the Games without being ostentatious.
You can buy the clothes at Luxe Kids on the sixth floor of Central Chidlom.
