Yet the Nitirat group of “law experts” is calling for the dissolution of the court itself.
The group openly supports the red shirts and the Pheu Thai Party in their concerted crusades to amend the Constitution – an effort that, if done wrongly, could badly affect the country’s democracy and future. Yet Thammasat University has allowed this group to use the campus as its base to showcase its political drive and ambitions. It is noteworthy that none of the group’s actions lately have been educational: all were about politics.
Thammasat’s board of lecturers should stop the Nitirat group from using the university’s good name and campus as its political base.
