He said it felt like being struck by lightning when he was informed that he was no longer needed on the show “Saranae”. He was considered one of its main ingredients along with Willy McIntosh and Kiatisak “Sena Hoi” Udomnak.
Ple also addressed his co-workers in his Facebook post after being given the boot following Monday’s taping.
“I wasn’t quite prepared, but I’d like to tell all my brothers and sisters to keep going and doing your best. Like I always say, your value depends on your work, and if I have the chance I’ll come visit you guys. Love you all.”
Reports had been circulating about conflicts between Ple and his pals. Ple had withdrawn his shares in the Lucks 666 production company, which the three stars co-owned.
Willy on Wednesday admitted he was the one who pulled Ple off the air, saying Ple didn’t fit the new format. “I learned about it two weeks ago but kept it from him until the last minute. It’s difficult because we’ve been good friends for 15 years.”
And they still are, Willy said, or rather hopes.
Climate change
Evidently the cast of Channel 3 soap opera “Hong Sabat Lai” were freezing their brass awards off while shooting in Paris awhile back. Nattawut “Por” Sakidjai and Janie Thinephosuwan said it was unbearably cold, and they couldn’t exactly put on a parka while filming.
“I never felt that cold before,” says Por. “No matter how many clothes I put on, it didn’t help.” Adds Janie: “As soon as they yelled ‘cut’, I ran straight for a blanket.”
Por nevertheless wanted some pictures of him posing bare-chested in front of the Eiffel Tower and even talked Pasut “Art” Baanyam into joining him half-naked. You won’t see that scene in the soap, but check Por’s posts on the social media.
