John Arnone’s letter is well expressed and very pertinent to the current global situation. One could say that the letter was written on behalf of the whole non-Muslim world.
We continually hear and read the media referring to those perpetrating violence in the name of Islam as “extremists”. For there to be an extreme, there must be a norm. What is the norm? The world would like to know, and it would be helpful to all were Islam to talk to us.
