It would be most revealing to know whether Thai military intelligence is getting surveillance information from the US National Security Agency. As we know, the NSA is able to snap up almost everything, which presumably includes communications from abroad that constitute interference in domestic Thai politics. So, did Thai military intelligence receive surveillance information from the NSA during last year’s rallies – especially communications from Dubai about Thailand’s internal politics?
If Thai military intelligence actually lacks this kind of information on interference from foreign soil, it tells us all we need to know about the so-called friendship between the US and Thailand.
