A lawyer for the party that allowed Thaksin Shinawatra go abroad and sanctioned his self-imposed exile after he had been found guilty thinks it is okay for Yingluck Shinawatra to travel abroad before she is indicted. If her brother wants to see her, he can visit Thailand for a stretch.
Why does the lawyer not back his claim by offering, on behalf of former government members, a bond of Bt2 million a day towards the cost of any delay in starting her trial?
If Yingluck remains abroad for as long as her brother, the country would at least get some of the money back.
