Re: "Giving rock a good name", Life, Sept 14; "'Surprise!' Bon Jovi's unscheduled thrill", Life, Sept 17.
These articles stirred my interest in the story of legendary rocker Jon Bon Jovi. One thing I discovered is that he set up the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, which helps people facing economic despair – the hungry, the homeless – by providing safe and affordable housing.
His sacrifices and his efforts to alleviate people’s suffering are commendable. It made me realise that an individual’s “good name” is not as important as a “good soul”.
