If China sinks, we all sink with it

Right now China’s economy is going through a huge “correction”, in line with what other big economies have experienced in recent decades.
China has become a full partner in the world economy and, with more than 1.3 billion people, it still represents the globe’s biggest consumer market, with the potential of much more growth.
EU and US officials especially should be actively explaining the importance of China’s economy to the world, and should be preventing any “verbal sabotage” of Beijing’s efforts to keep its economy productive and profitable.
We are all in the same boat when it comes to the world economy, and no one in his right mind would punch holes in this already leaky vessel.
