Dick Cheney, George W’s conservative sidekick, is to blame

The Chilcot Report says that the intelligence on Iraq was flawed but ignores the basic reasons for this.

A neo-con committee decided that Saddam Hussein had to go in 1986 for commercial reasons, as leader of the Ba’ath socialist party. Dick Cheney, George W Bush’s puppet master was a member.
Back in Cold War days the FBI used a Team B approach to “intelligence” by selecting scraps of information and manipulating it to give an
estimate of USSR capabili-ties, which escalated the arms race.
Under Cheney similar
techniques led to the conclusion that Saddam Hussein
had “weapons of mass distriction”.
Sources of such information were Iraqis that had fled Iraq before the law caught up with them, eg Chalabi.
George Bush says the world is a better place without Saddam Hussein, but with
him around, IS would
not be.
