Thailand has rightly been criticised for having separate prices at tourist attractions for foreigners and Thais. Yet even in supposedly more advanced societies such as Malaysia, the dual-price structure also exists.
Clearly Thailand does not have a monopoly on ripping off tourists. Perhaps Thailand is not as bad as people make it out to be – or Malaysia is not so advanced after all.
