Kiradech finishes top 10 again on European Tour.
Kiradech Aphibarnrat posted his second straight European Tour top 10 finish after he carded a total 13 underpar275, three behind South Korean winner Wang Jeunghun in the final round of the Qatar Masters on Sunday.
A week after his tied fourth finish in Abu Dhabi, Kiradech again came back from a sluggish start of two bogeys to produce five birdies for a fourth round 69. He landed at joint ninth along with Nathan Kimsey.
“It was another tournament that I was playing well my second straight top 10 finish on a European Tour. I just wished that I could have done better by making my birdie putts on the 16 th and 18 th holes. But overall I’m happy with my result,” said the world No 73 who have been showing impressive results after teaming up with Pete Cowen this year.
“I never had a foreign coach until Pete came along. So far we have been working together very well. Under his guidance, my tee shots are getting better,” said Kiradech who is entering his third successive event in the Middle East on Thursday in the Dubai Desert Classic.
