The 146-square-metre boutique echoes the brand’s flagship store in New York with identical materials and modern and luxurious interior decor. The eclectic mix of vintage-style furniture and art includes an ornate mid-century chair upholstered with Queen’s Coat Fabric imported from New York.
The white brick walls are inspired by the facade of a subway station in the Big Apple, juxtaposed with Venetian plaster-style tonal blue. Zebra-stripe carpets, intricate Persian rugs, classic wooden tables, black-striped mirrors, gilded shelves and a grand crystal chandelier together catch the brand’s essence.
And local artist Ittipol Poriman was commissioned to paint a mural of birds in the changing room.
The pop-up store comes with amazing attention given to the decorative details. Whitewashed brick walls and subway tile facade will mix with Staceface carpet imported from New York.
Sergio Garcia’s signature “Tricycle” is prominently displayed to complement the retail space.
Launched in 2002, the brand juxtaposes whimsical, flirty, sexy and sophisticated. It was Bendet’s personal quest to create the perfect pair of slacks, and the line has since grown into a full lifestyle collection, including ready-to-wear, gowns, shoes, accessories, handbags and eyewear.
The brand is a favourite of celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba, Kourtney Kardashian, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and former US first lady Michelle Obama.
