Where dreams come true

AirAsia is partnering with Kidzania Bangkok – the leading interactive entertainment centre for children – to help youngsters aged seven to 12 to realise their dreams of being part of an airline cabin crew.

Thirty children will be selected for the upcoming “AirAsia Cabin Crew Junior Camp”, which will see them get real training from in-flight staff and AirAsia security professionals and the final five winning the opportunity to serve on a real flight with AirAsia and win prizes worth Bt2 million in total.
“Being a member of a cabin crew is not easy but it is within reach. The AirAsia Cabin Crew Junior Camp will select a group of children for real life training from actual professionals and give them the chance to don the AirAsia uniform and take a flight. Those selected will also receive a wing-shaped pin to show that they were part of this camp, to remind them of the unique and special experience they had,” explains the airline’s Santisuk Klongchaiya.
Denis Zhu, chief executive of Kidzania Bangkok, adds that for the past 4 years Kidzania has been working to provide realistic experiences for youngsters in the hope this will inspire their future careers and Cabin Crew Member has been one of the most sought after roles.
Boys and girls aged 7-12 can apply for a chance to join the camp from today until July 16. Download the application at www.Airasia.com. After filling out the form, applicants will also have to submit a self-introduction video of no more than three minutes answering the questions from the application. Send all the materials and a photograph to [email protected]. A panel of judges will select 60 children for a first round of interviews and auditions from which 30 applicants will be chosen for training. The final five will serve as cabin crew on a flight from Bangkok to Hat Yai on August 19.
