The Pheu Thai Party will vote unanimously (with a rare abstention) for any law that benefits the Shinawatra family, and object strenuously and diligently for any law that disadvantages them. Policy is set by the man that owns the party (“Thaksin thinks, PTP acts”), a fugitive from justice who wouldn’t recognise altruism if it bit him. After all, what is the point of paying billions to own a political party if there is no return from your investment?

Thaksin’s amnesty was rejected unanimously by the Senate and very strongly by the voters. Now why don’t you give me one law disadvantaging the Shinawatras, either passed by them or not opposed?
