Huh? You mean they only know that NOW?
No fault with the service!? Aren’t there still ticket vendors that can only accept coins?

The BTS system is failing the people of Bangkok on a daily basis and should immediately be taken under government control, as they are unable to offer the service to the public they should be. The system is a natural monopoly and should not be operated by a private company. It is a key public transportation service in Bangkok. How can it be possible that the time between trains during rush hours is several minutes? How can it be possible that the platforms are not completely covered nor there are fans, room to queue, access for handicapped and only narrow stairs? How is it possible that they are extending the existing lines even though there is no capacity to handle the current situation? How it is possible that they are able to raise the prices which are already relatively high, with a return trip in inner city area costing more than breakfast and lunch combined? Why do the BMA use their time to fight against street food so that everybody has to buy 7-Eleven CP food instead of tackling the traffic and public transportation crisis? These are my thoughts after sweating again one hour at the packed platform and listening the every morning apology announcements from the speakers.

How about more ticket machines and ones that accept bills?
