Seminar looks at wellbeing and sustainability
The 2018 edition of the annual International Wellbeing and Sustainability Forum Bangkok takes place next Monday (January 15) at Royal Paragon Hall with a panel of guest speakers covering just about every aspect of wellbeing and sustainability in an ageing world.
Organised by Magnolia Quality Development, the international seminar is aimed at members of the public, students, academics, and professionals. The speakers include Toby Blunt, senior partner of Foster + Partners, on “How Masterplans Drive Sustainability”; Bill Coan, president and principal of ITEC Entertainment on “Customer Experience Designed for Wellbeing”; Assoc Prof Dr Singh Intrachooto, chief advisor of the Research & Innovation for Sustainability Centre (RISC), on “Evolving Sustainability from a Trend to a Habit”; Dr William E Reichman, president and CEO of Baycrest, on “Environments for Civilised Ageing”; and Prof John Spengler, professor from Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, “Quantifying Sustainability Benefits for Healthier Housing”. The Nation’s Suthichai Yoon serves as moderator.

This forum examines how wellbeing and sustainability can be integrated to tackle issues such as ageing populations, urbanisation, energy use, health, and wellbeing.
