Khun Chavalit claims that UK Prime Minister Theresa May has solid evidence that the Russians poisoned a former spy and his daughter in England. So far that evidence appears to amount to a secret UK lab reporting that the nerve agent used in the attack was Novichok – a Russian name. Furthermore, the UK has refused to cooperate with the Russians and refused to give them a sample of the poison, despite being bound by a convention to share such information.
As for Khun Chavalit’s claim that Donald Trump has stepped down as global leader, the truth is he has made overtures to North Korea to decrease the tension between the two countries. Shouldn’t we be looking for peace rather than escalating towards war? Theresa May appears to disagree, selling her cluster bombs to Saudi Arabia with the explanation that the UK won’t risk its good relations with Saudi Arabia in the fight against the Islamic State. Is that what Khun Chavalit would call a well-informed action? It is common knowledge that Saudi Arabia is a main funder of the Islamic State. May is just a female Tony Blair.
As for John McCain, there’s no surprise he has a deep resentment against Trump since he lost a presidential election while Trump won one against all odds. McCain is a staunch advocate of globalism, which necessitates war against all countries that do not fit the mould of US democracy. Last but not least, I praise president Trump for defying White House aides to congratulate Vladimir Putin on Sunday’s election win. After all Trump is the president: why should he listen to insignificant subalterns over his own feelings? Anything to achieve peace should be praised.
