The Nation’s coverage of the interview of the children rescued from the Chiang Rai cave offered much to be inspired about.
The Mu Pa kids came across as such humble, self-effacing and articulate youngsters, expressing their gratitude to all those who had saved them. Innocence and team spirit were writ large on their faces and in their respectful behaviour.
I do hope they will fulfil their aspirations of becoming professional footballers, Navy Seal divers and going on to serve society. They have done their nation proud. They have been through a horrible ordeal and I hope time assuages their trauma.
