Thai teen racing driver secures double podium in Spain
Thai racing star Tasanapol “Tern” Inthraphuvasak brought joy to Thai speed enthusiasts at the weekend, securing a thrilling double podium in the 2023 Eurocup-3 race at Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya, Spain.
The 17-year-old put on an impressive performance in the Qualifying round, securing the 2nd fastest time. Starting from the front row, he maintained his speed, finishing second and clinching the runner-up trophy in the 1st Race.
Tasanapol's formidable form showed no signs of waning in the 2nd race. Despite constant pressure from his fellow drivers, he brought his No. 14 car to another second-place finish.
With the accumulated season points, Tasanapol rises to the 6th position in the overall standings and pushes his Campos Racing team to the top of the rankings. This success not only elevates Tasanapol's standing in the global motorsport scene but also marks a significant step towards realising his dream of becoming a professional racing driver.
