Fire ravages Bangkok pub
A fire broke out in Bangkok's Huai Kwang district at a pub which was under renovation on Friday afternoon but there was no report of injuries, according to the Bangkok-based Traffic News Radio Station JS100.
Police were alerted at 7.20pm to the App Arena Rama 9 pub in Soi Rama IX 6, just opposite the Royal City Avenue hub of nightspots.
The firefighters took less than 30 minutes to bring the fire under control, while the pub's rear ceiling and wall collapsed.
