18 saved from Nai Harn surf
Ten Russian tourists, four Chinese and four Thais were dragged from the surf off Nai Harn beach after getting into difficulty in the waves yesterday (Tuesday).

There were onshore southwestern winds of up to 25kmh kicking a strong swell along Phuket’s western beaches.
