Police were alerted early Thursday that La, 45, had fallen from the eight floor of a nine-floor building through the vertical shaft housing power and communication cables. 
His body was sent to the Laem Chabang Hospital.&nbsp; 
His friends told police that they had last seen him walking towards the shaft while working on the eighth floor Wednesday evening. They continued to work and did not know he had fallen.&nbsp; 
They noticed he was missing only after finishing their shifts and returning to their living quarters. They returned to the building to look for him and found the body at the bottom of the shaft.

Myanmar worker killed in fall from university building

A worker from Myanmar worker died after falling down the utilities shaft of a university building under construction in Chon Buri’s Laem Chabang district Wednesday evening.
