The Royal Thai Navy took a fleet of Royal barges down the Chao Phraya River on Tuesday (September 17) for a rehearsal ahead of the last event marking the coronation ceremony.
The rehearsal involved 2,200 oarsmen and comprised 52 vessels, as well as the four barges that will carry Their Majesties and members of the Royal Family.
The Royal Barge procession is scheduled for October 24, when Their Majesties will preside over a Kathina ritual - a Buddhist Lent merit-making ceremony at Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn).
