GHB offers new loans for home buying, construction or repairs
Government Housing Bank (GHB) will lend Bt20 billion to home buyers who have been approved for Bt5,000 cash handouts or have applied for a GHB loan amid the Covid-19 crisis, the Thai Koo Fah Facebook page reported today (June 1).
The latest loans, which come with an interest rate of 1.99 per cent for the first two years, will allow people to borrow up to Bt3 million for buying new or second-hand homes or constructing, expanding or repairing one. A loan will also be given for customers who want to purchase equipment or facilities for living.
“For example, people who borrow Bt1 million have to pay only Bt3,300 per month during the first two years,” the page post said.
“In addition, this project will allow people to waive loan application fees, calculate the collateral value at a special rate and pay installments for up to 40 years.”
Those interested can apply for a loan from today until December 30.
