Songkran holidays will rely on number of new infections

Whether the Songkran holidays will be rescheduled in July depends very much on the number of new Covid-19 infections there are now that the third phase of lockdown easing began on Monday (June 1), Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesman for the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration said.
Thailand had postponed the Songkran holidays in April to help curb the pandemic.
