Thailand has reached 31 days without a domestic case.
The new case is a returnee from Egypt and is asymptomatic, Dr Panprapa Yongtrakul, CCSA assistant spokeswoman, said.
Meanwhile, 12 patients recovered fully and returned home.
As of June 25, the total number of confirmed cases in the country stood at 3,158 (2,444 domestic cases and 221 in state quarantine) -- 58 are under treatment, 3,038 have recovered and been discharged, and there have been 58 deaths.
Globally, the total number of confirmed cases rose to 9.5 million, increasing by 173,000 on Wednesday, and there have been more than 480,000 deaths.
The US raised concerns with a sharp spike of more than 30,000 new cases in the last 24 hours. The situation in India is worrying as well with the country adding almost 16,000 new cases on June 24.
Dr Panprapa shared her concerns about the start of the new semester. She urged students to follow good health practices and wear a mask.
