Police look for driver of car that caught fire in Chonburi
A car caught fire on a Chonburi province road on Sunday morning, but when the rescue team reached the spot, the driver was nowhere to be found.
At 1.30am, Sawang Boriboon Foundation’s rescue radio was notified that a car had hit a barrier on the road and caught fire.
Firefighters and rescue volunteers promptly went to put out the fire. They managed to extinguish the flames but were surprised to find the car empty.
Police are looking for the driver. They suspect that the driver might have been injured and taken to hospital or was possibly drunk and walked away from the scene.
