Transport Minister Saksayam 'has Covid-19'
Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob has contracted Covid-19, an official report confirmed on Wednesday.
Earlier on Wednesday morning, Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said Saksayam – a member of his Bhumjaithai Party – was under treatment in Buriram Hospital with high fever and awaiting the results of a Covid-19 test.
Anutin himself is presently quarantined at home.
On Tuesday, he made merit along with other Bhumjaithai members including Saksayam and another staffer, who was confirmed to be infected with Covid.
The health minister told the press that he wore a face mask all the time when he was with the others.
